Developers Log

Don't forget to site all of your image/sound sources on your Developers Log......if you haven't saved it to your flash drive yet, you need to do so before March 5. The log will no longer be on the desktop after this date.

March 2(B) - March 5(A)

Assignments:
  • Splash Screens
  • Instructions Screens
  • Level Splash Screens
  • Daily Logs - Turn in at end of class
  • Time Management - plan out your next 16 days.........what are you going to do each class...and turn in a list day for day at the end of class on 3/2(B) or 3/5(A).
  • Final Story of all Levels due March 12 typed and in correct format.
Objectives:
This challenge has each high school team creating an edutainment game for grade level 7th or 8th.
  • The game must help to teach subject matter that is specific to the grade selected.
  • The game should engage students in Math, Language, or Science.
  • The game should be appropriate to the target audience.
  • The game must have a storyline and the play should support the theme of the game.
  • The game must have the player progress to a second level of play.
  • A description of 2 additional levels should be included in the documentation for the game.

  • Use Google Docs/Blender.....find sites of Open Source or download 30 day trials of Photoshop/CorelDraw.....
